Relative position from the object reduces the space.
“Lookout from inside” (2015) is a rigorous visual reflection on consciousness and containment. The work focuses on the principle that the relative position from the object reduces the space, a core concept in Felipe Peña’s investigation into energy and perception. The title itself places the viewer in a state of confinement.
The geometric composition, with its defined lines and structured frame, acts as a filter of reality. The contrast is potent: rich earthy textures (matter) are contained by the minimalism of the pure voids (black and white), activating spatial resonance. The work is not a window to the outside, but the experience of a boundary. It is an inspiring meditation on how energy is organized and intensified when confined. “Lookout from inside” invites us to seek intensity in stillness and to understand that perceptual clarity is often found through the reduction of space.
