IN THE ESTUDIO: The-7-Train
An exploration of New York’s identity through industrial textures and urban tonalities. This exhibition distills the material language of the city, revealing subtle tensions, solitude, and emotional undercurrents embedded within its spaces.

“Mini-frames” — For my upcoming exhibition. A reflection on the ideas and the enrichment found in New York City, and exactly what you carry with you when you leave it behind.

7 Train of NTC

Local community newspapers from specific New York neighborhoods provide a non-commercial character—exactly what I am looking for.
Created through architectural layering: intertwined wire, straight and level lines, and twisted steel over lettering. Fine materials, delicate wire… objects with history. Nuclear white, dirty grey with dust-black… rusted wire or small found objects that carry meaning—saltpeter, the sea, the weathering of materials on the coast and at the moment of departure. Lost illusions transformed into stability and maturity.

Refining and fine-tuning my ideas—focusing on being clear and not spreading myself too thin. Right now, what I’m looking for is structure.
