Time stops when energy is infinite.
“organic anxiety” (2015) is a diptych that captures the paradox of modern consciousness. The work by Felipe Peña, an abstract painter who investigates energy and space, is based on the principle that time stops when energy is infinite. The diptych, with its vertical forms and high material density, illustrates a balance between chaos and restraint.
The juxtaposition is vital: the left shows earthy and green tones (the organic/matter), and the right, fiery oranges (energy/activation), united by the black stroke. The artist uses color to activate, not to please. The rich texture and layered surfaces reflect the vibration and material tension of a living organism under pressure. “organic anxiety” invites us to understand anxiety not as a flaw, but as an excess of unchanneled energy. It is a powerful abstract meditation that reminds us that the density of silence is the place where the present reveals itself with intensity.
